The DPD network had a very successful year 2004. The parcel volume in this pan-European network increased to 313 million, up by an average 9.6% from 2003.
DPD SUCCESSFULLY AWARDED RENEWED CERTIFICATION BY TÜV
In December 2004 DPD was awarded ISO 9001:2000 re-certification after successfully meeting the requirements of the three-yearly repeat audit. The audit, which was carried out by Germany's TÜV Süd, covered a total of 10 depots in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland together with a number of departments at GeoPost/DPD headquarters in Aschaffenburg.
